Bruce Sears and his business partner each had a million dollar life insurance policy for each other. Sears wanted to kill his partner for the insurance payout. After several failed attempts to introduce poison to the partner, Sears sought to hire a hitman. I ran the investigation, placed an agent undercover to meet with Sears and fill the contract. The successful investigation resulted in Sears being convicted related to his solicitation to commit murder.
