Christopher is a former police officer and Special Agent–FBI (Retired) with 40 years of experience in criminal investigation. He began his career with a mid-size suburban police department before joining the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He served in Charlotte and Chicago before taking his final post in the Kansas City Division. His experience spans a wide range of cases, including murder for hire, homicide, extortion, child sexual abuse, and elder abuse. Recognized as an expert in his field, Christopher served as a Senior Advisor to the Afghan Major Crimes Task Force and, through the U.S. State Department, was seconded to the United Nations, where he served as Senior Advisor to the Commissioner of Investigations for the Liberia National Police.
Christopher studied Crime Scene Behavioral Analysis (commonly known as criminal profiling) under Dr. Brent Turvey, one of the world’s foremost forensic criminologists. He is board certified in Behavioral Analysis and holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Criminology. He has also served in academia, teaching as an adjunct professor at Southwest Baptist University for three years, where he instructed a course on Serial Killers, and for seven years at George Washington University in the Public Sector Security Leadership program. Notably, in 2022, he investigated and solved the 1989 homicide of Kelle Anne Workman. He also assisted Dr. Brent Turvey in the defense of the State of Idaho vs. Brian Kohberger case, widely known as the “Idaho Four” murders, where his behavioral analysis work is featured in the book Broken Plea by Christopher Whitcomb.
